Plugging in the adapter - System Information detects it correctly as a "Cambridge Silicon Radio" bluetooth module. I purchased a BT USB adapter on the weekend in an attempt to give better BT when using all three together - the TP-link UB400, which those in the Hackintosh circles seem to suggest will work. The quality of the BT module in the laptop is average at best with all three running, often the audio will tear/shudder - often I'll reach for the "reset bluetooth module" option to try again. Got a 2017 MBP, running latest Big Sur (11.3.1) - with three bluetooth devices (mouse/keyboard and speaker system - BT 3.0). Sorry, I had a good search - I can't find any (recent) information that answers my question.
